Lonzo Ball has 'no complaints' after benching in fourth quarter of Lakers win
Posted By: Unknown - 8:36 AMLonzo Ball is in it to win it.
Despite watching the fourth quarter of Monday's game against the Suns from the bench, the Lakers rookie is just happy his team got the victory.
"We got a win so I got no complaints," Ball said, via ESPN. "My teammates got it done in the fourth and we had to at least get one on this road trip.
"We got the win, everything worked out, so I got no complaints and J.C. was hot. I would have rolled with him, too."
Ball was benched in favor of Jordan Clarkson and Corey Brewer, exiting the game with 2:47 left in the third quarter for Clarkson.
After struggling with his shooting earlier this season, Ball got his first career triple-double with 19 points, 13 assists, 11 rebounds, three blocks and three steals in Saturday's loss to the Bucks and became the youngest NBA player to accomplish the feat at age 20 years, 15 days. Cavs star LeBron James held the previous record of 20 years, 20 days.
